Best place visited:
1. Bottle beach, Thailand;
2. Siem Reap and Angkor Wat, Cambodia
Favourite local dish eaten:
1. Sticky rice, banana and coconut milk rolled in banana leaf, Thailand;
2. Laos lunch on a palm leaf in rain forest in Luang Nam Tha
Best accomodation:
1. Bottle beach bungalow on the beach (top pic);
2. Red Lodge in Cambodia for its free all day coffee, tea, banana's, jam bread rolls, movies, hammocks and bicycles!
Worst accomodation: Mouldy room at Lucky Shark guesthouse in Kata Beach, Phuket (bottom pic). Mouldy smell was so bad it kept us awake at night and stayed with us in our clothes and bags for the next week or two.
Top 5 experiences:
1. Bottle beach
2. Scooter hire and our tour of Phuket island
3. Cycling for 3 days exploring the temples of Angkor Wat
4. Sapa in Vietnam
5. Laos lunch on palm leaf, mentioned above
Worst experience: Getting threatened and ripped off for darga tour of Halong Bay
