We had a sweet day doing a trip to the Mekong Delta, and although we were hussled from bus to boat and boat to bus (and one overpriced stall to another) like sheep along with all the other tourists, which wasn't so cool, we got to relax and be vegetables for the day, and not stress about negotiating bus tickets, getting to the right stations, etc.
The delta was so exotic, really different, although we didn't get to see many local people unaffiliated with the tourist trade (think the longer tours are better in that way). We made an (immeadiate) space in our daily budget to buy some deliscious coconut candy made on the delta islands....mmmmmmmmm. We've been (unsuccessfully) trying to ration it...
We've been trying to catch more locals from our street on film...see above!
